One of the latest projects I am working on is a localized social network written in Rails. The goal is to build a simpler Facebook without the overhead of all Facebook tracking. At the very least, it is a great look into the challenges of building a distributed social application. I am looking forward to continue to add features and polish up this project. Please check it out and let me know what you think! Any feedback is welcome!
One of the biggest things I am constantly striving to improve is understanding where all my time is going. To that end, I have begun working on a project to help me track my hours at the end of the day by reading in data that I create and generating a unique chart indicating where all my time has gone. This chart will show me how I spent the year. It is currently built with jQuery and PHP on the backend. I have started experimenting with transitioning this project to ASP.NET or React + node.JS stack. Let me know what you think I should consider. This project is rapidly evolving and I welcome input! Please check it out and let me know what you think!
Continuting my efforts into improving productivity, I wanted to create a personalized app that would allow me to have a personalized todo list. As a result, I created AzizDo, an App written in Rails that alows me to store my urgent and not so urgent tasks and try to better organize my priorities. I am looking to integrate this application into TimeTracker but I would love any input that anyone has or any feature requests. Please check it out and let me know what you think!
